• Easy to use. Single-click installation of the PocketCaster software onto a mobile phone and then simply press ‘Start’ and an instructor is streaming live video of the fieldtrip site.
• Live interaction. Phone video captures body language and facial expressions of the instructor for ideal communication and personalized learning.
• Flexible viewing. Fieldtrip videos can be watched live, or later on PCs, Macs and mobile phones—allowing students flexibility in scheduling.
• No special hardware. Instructors use common mobile phones and students log in to the Mobile Fieldtrip website with PCs and standard web browsers.
• Secure. Video is safely stored on a server, always accessible from PCs, Macs or mobile phones. Fieldtrips are password protected for viewing by students only.
• One-to-many. Instructors can broadcast the fieldtrip to a few learners or a few hundred learners.
