Two-way Communication Solution — nSyte
To advance the technology used in distributing learning, Acadium brings a solution to universities, colleges, K-12 school districts and corporations that provides facilitators and learners an opportunity to communicate live (synchronously) without the usual frustrations of plug-ins, slow Internet speeds, and computer complications. Using devices available in homes everywhere, learners use their mobile video phones/PDAs and televisions to bring a “live” synchronous classroom right into their living rooms.
SMS Audience Response System — mClk
There is a digital disconnect between teachers and students. Students spend hours a day using their cell phones for communication and entertainment. Isn't it time we found ways to bring them into the learning process? mClk is a system that replaces traditional "clickers." Teachers use either a PowerPoint add on or a web-based application to create questions. Students respond by simply "texting" the right answer to a specified short code. No specialized hardware required!
